Welcome to the Patrick Henry High School Music Program! Here you will find information about the various opportunities available to students enrolled in Orchestra, Band, Choir, Color Guard and Winter Guard.
We are honored to represent Patrick Henry High School in our community and beyond. The program, under the direction of Matthew Kalal, strives to provide transformative experiences, personal growth and learning opportunities for all student at all levels of their music education.

It's almost time for the Disney trip!
It's almost time for the Disney trip!
The optional Performing Arts Workshop at Disneyland on Saturday, January 17, 2026 is almost here! Students will experience a professional recording studio, sight-reading and work directly with industry professionals to create a truly magical ensemble piece. A screening of their recorded work will be set to Disney film footage.
If you are attending, please download and carefully review all of the trip information in this flyer. Here are some helpful reminders for your planning:
Students will be in groups of three or more at all times. All students will be assigned a chaperone group that they will keep in communication with throughout the day.
Wear comfortable shoes and bring a jacket.
Bring money for food.
Glass water bottles are not permitted.
Make sure you have any vital medication with you (epi pen, etc).
No photography or filming is permitted backstage at Disney/California Adventure at any time (plan to turn off your phone completely or leave it with your belongings in the Uhaul during the soundtrack session).
Park hours are 8am to 9pm.
